what it is

BrowserCoin (BRC) is a young CPU-mined cryptocurrency using the Sandglass v3 algorithm. NurseryPool is an independent third-party pool for it.

how to create a wallet

open the browsercoin wallet the official wallet app:

Your address is shown on the wallet page: 64 hexadecimal characters. That is where the pool pays you.

back it up important:

Save your wallet file (or its recovery phrase) somewhere safe. Lose it and the coins are gone — no one can recover it for you.

Your wallet is created automatically on first visit to browsercoin.org. Export the private key and back it up.

verifies the proof-of-work against the reference implementation
detects your CPU and picks the right number of workers

Mining from several machines? Give each one a different name. Two unnamed machines behind the same public IP share a single worker slot, get the same nonce range, and compute exactly the same hashes — half your hashrate wasted.

Uninstall with rm -rf fulgur-brc. A reboot has nothing to undo.

Without the patch above you lose about 27 % on Linux, because FulgurMiner only allocates huge pages on Windows. MINER_WORKERS: 2 per core on AMD Zen 4 (1 MB of L2 per core), 1 per core elsewhere.
